I have owned and been using the Panasonic GH5 predominately for Shooting Real Estate Video for the last 5 months.
Here’s my thoughts on the good and the not so good.
Hello Grant – thanks for sharing your experience with your new GH5 and sample video – very informative. I am just setting up a GH3 with a 7-14mm lens and a Zhiyun Crane 2. I notice your sample videos show many slider type shots. Are you actually using a slider or do you simulate the slider action with your Moza gimbal or is that feasible? I don’t want to get a slider if I don’t really need to when I have the Crane 2.

Hi Jim – yes most of those shots were on a slider, there were about 5 shots on a handheld gimbal. I have found with the gimbal you can simulate some of the slider shots but still find it gives you a slightly different feel, its usually a little quicker and its very hard to use subjects close to the camera in the foreground and keep them steady. Cheers
